A taste of RefrescoRead more
We are crucial to the continued development of the Refresco UK business. By enabling the overall business to improve profitability and reduce costs, we facilitate further growth and expansion. To give you one example, we manage our working capital position to minimise the cash resources we use to allow for more for investment and, in turn, more growth.
We make sure that we're looking after our customers and suppliers too, dealing with invoicing and payments – and any queries they may have - promptly and professionally. We can also manage sales invoicing, cash collection and credit control for our Contract packing and Contract distribution customers. This allow our direct customers to concentrate on selling their products and leaving the back office work to us. Yet another example of where Finance is adding more value to the overall Refresco business.
Our people are at the forefront of everything we do and our role is to strengthen and adapt the Refresco UK structure to enable business success. We support managers to become better at what they do, to ensure they get the best from their teams.
We are undertaking some really interesting projects from improving how we identify and develop talent, alongside benchmarking our reward offering to ensure we remain competitive. We are also increasing collaboration with our HR colleagues across Europe - sharing our learning and best practices.
There is a real ethos around people development as we aim to give our employee all the tools they need to progress. And we're also getting ready to partner the University of Bath to launch an Industrial Placement Programme and our first ever Graduate Scheme which will start in 2016.
We support, maintain and constantly improve the Refresco IT infrastructure. We strive to obtain zero unplanned hours downtime for the entire business, by ensuring that all technology - hardware, software, applications – works exactly as it should twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
We are constantly looking to provide the latest hardware, applications and software to enable Refresco to deliver uninterrupted production and, in turn, achieve its ambitions. We are always exploring new technologies and processes to help us gain competitive advantage for our business. Not only do we invest in our systems, we invest heavily in our people too: training and development mean a great deal to us, and we are also actively involved in Refresco's Apprenticeship scheme. Indeed, we currently have two very talented Apprentices working with us.
We're easy to get to, just off the M5 and only a short drive from Bristol or Exeter. Bridgwater is situated in the breathtaking Somerset countryside, close to the seaside, Exmoor and the beautiful Mendip Hills. Pop your postcode in the box below to see what your commute to Refresco would be like.
